Lunis.AI
Lunis is a comprehensive digital platform designed specifically for real estate consultants. As the primary UX/UI Designer, I was entrusted with the task of creating an intuitive and user-centric interface. The platform seamlessly integrates listing management, a dynamic agent page builder, and a social media calendar tool. By working closely with the development team, we ensured that the design was not only visually appealing but also functional, catering to the unique needs of real estate professionals. Continuous testing and iteration are integral to our process, ensuring that we consistently deliver an optimized and enhanced user experience. The end result is a unified platform that simplifies and elevates the digital marketing efforts of real estate consultants, allowing them to manage their online presence with ease and efficiency.
Project's Background
The genesis of the Lunis project began when two passionate stakeholders approached me with a visionary idea: harnessing the power of AI to revolutionize the digital experience for real estate agents.
Recognizing the potential impact of this concept, my initial approach was rooted in comprehensive market research.I delved into analyzing potential competitors and platforms with similar offerings, such as Linktree and Later, as well as established real estate platforms. The goal was twofold: to identify existing market gaps and to understand the unique digital needs and challenges faced by real estate agents. By drawing insights from these platforms, I aimed to discern how real estate professionals interacted with digital tools and how AI could enhance their experience.
The overarching objective was clear: to craft a product that not only leveraged cutting-edge AI technology but also delivered an intuitive and beneficial experience tailored specifically for real estate agents.
Problem Statement
The Lunis project embarked on a unique trajectory from its inception. With a pressing timeline for the initial prototype, there was little room for extended research phases.
However, this challenge was met with a unique advantage: one of the stakeholders was an active real estate agent. Drawing from his firsthand experiences and insights from his peers, they provided me with preliminary user research and persona profiles. This rich, ground-level perspective painted a vivid picture of the target user and their needs.
Together, we distilled these insights into a clear problem statement: How can we harness the power of AI to create a digital tool that addresses the specific challenges faced by real estate agents, enhancing their online presence and marketing efforts?
This problem statement served as the guiding light for the project, ensuring that every design decision and feature addition was aligned with the core objective of serving real estate professionals in the most impactful way.
Design Process
Dashboard
The Lunis dashboard is the central hub for users, offering a comprehensive overview of their digital real estate activities. Users are presented with real-time metrics on social media engagement and listings management, ensuring they're always up-to-date. The interface allows for quick access to upcoming posts, a review of recently posted content, and a prominently displayed "Add a Listing" button. Additionally, timely alerts prompt users to take necessary actions, such as adding more listings, ensuring the platform functions optimally.
Personalized Agent Page
Developed a dynamic page builder that auto-generates a personalized agent page based on the information and listings they add. This serves as a digital business card, showcasing their properties and personal profile.
Listing Management
Designed an intuitive interface for agents to add and manage their property listings with ease.
Social Media Calendar
Within the social media calendar, each date showcases scheduled posts, providing users with a holistic view of their content timeline. By leveraging the principle of direct manipulation, users can interact with specific posts on specific dates, ensuring a tangible and immediate user experience.
Preview and Edit Functionality
Upon selecting a scheduled post within Lunis' social media calendar, users are greeted with a multi-functional modal. This design, rooted in direct manipulation and feedback principles, offers a seamless experience. The modal provides a high-fidelity preview of the content, ensuring users can review their post as it would appear upon publishing. Integrated within the same space is an intuitive editing interface, allowing for real-time content modifications. Additionally, users have the option to select which specific social media channels they wish to post the content on, providing them with greater control over their digital presence. For added flexibility, a deletion option is also available, but to safeguard against unintentional actions, a confirmation prompt is triggered, ensuring users make deliberate choices.
Video Generator
In the realm of real estate, visuals play a pivotal role in capturing the essence of properties. Recognizing this, we introduced the Video Generator Page on Lunis. This dedicated space showcases engaging video narratives for each listing, offering agents a centralized hub to access and view these dynamic presentations. While the same video content was also available on the individual listings page, we strategically provided this dual access point to cater to diverse user browsing habits and to test its utility. The intention was to ensure that our users always had a seamless experience accessing these valuable visual assets, regardless of their navigation preferences. By continuously monitoring user interactions and gathering feedback, we aimed to refine this feature, ensuring it remains a vital tool in enhancing the digital marketing efforts of real estate consultants.
Intuitive Design
Rooted in the principle of cognitive ease, the settings interface is designed to be intuitive, minimizing the user's cognitive load. By employing familiar design patterns and clear visual hierarchies, we ensured that users can navigate and make changes with minimal friction.
Deletion Process
Understanding the gravity of data deletion, we implemented a multi-step confirmation process. This not only adheres to the principle of preventing user errors but also ensures that users are making conscious decisions. The process begins with an initial confirmation, followed by a secondary validation step, safeguarding against accidental deletions.
Feedback Modal
Recognizing the importance of user feedback, especially during initial interactions, we introduced a modal prompt post-deletion request. This modal seeks the user's approval for direct communication, allowing us to gather invaluable insights. By placing this at a critical user decision point, we leverage the principle of timely feedback collection, ensuring that the feedback is both relevant and immediate.
Learnings from this Project
The journey with Lunis was filled with invaluable insights and lessons. One of the most significant challenges we faced was the tight timeline for presenting the initial prototype. This expedited schedule led us to skip the critical research phase, a decision that later manifested in user experience challenges. While we did conduct a usability test, it had its limitations due to biases. As a result, we've observed users encountering issues with the platform. However, we've taken a proactive approach to this challenge. By utilizing tools like Hotjar, we're continuously monitoring and analyzing user interactions. This real-time feedback loop ensures that we're well-positioned to address issues and refine the platform, always aiming to provide the best possible solution for our users.
